When a good deal of time will be spent in the same class with the same group, it is important to share a little about each other. You might not care who you are with every Saturday, however, it is nice to know likes and dislikes, hobbies, a little bit about your jobs and perhaps your family. It is not necessary to provide details. You are allowed to share what you feel like sharing. Let me start.
I have been a teacher for 16 years. I never thought of becoming one, but those are the things one discovers on the way. I truly enjoy it! I have met a lot of people and have lived many nice experiences being a teacher. I have taught preschool, elementary, teens, adults, and even seniors. I don't have an age group of preference, I simply love teaching! I completed my bachelor degree in Technology and English teaching. I also finished my master in e-Learning. I am currently taking courses on coding and a little bit of animation. I can't stop learning.
On the other hand, I love spending time with my family. Even though we don't have as much time as I wish, because we are involved in many activities, we enjoy traveling around Guatemala. We all like nature, therefore we usually visit natural parks and other tourist places in Guate. My three kids have a lot of fun, since they really love the places we visit.
Tu sum up, I'd like to tell you some of my likes and dislikes. Whenever I can, I totally go for some time by myself reading a good piece and enjoying a fine drink. You know what they say, "everybody needs some time on their own". I like eating out with friends, although I can't do it that often. I like listening to music. What would life be without music? I love almost every genre and I typically select the genre according to my mood or occasion. There are some days I feel retro, so I go back in time through music. On the contrary, there are a few things I dislike. I dislike gossiping, watching soap operas, reggaeton, negative and untruthful people.
Is there anything else you would like to learn about your teacher? Go ahead and ask! I will be happy to share, as long as it is not too personal. Include your expectations about this course. Remember we all want to learn about you as well, so begin typing!

ReplyDeleteAbout my expectations, in this course I hope to imporove my Listening and Speaking, so I need both in my work. The class must be dynamic and entertaining, so for me to have study on saturdays is so tire. It is important to keep the harmony in the group and to have discipline during the week, I recognize that we have to dedicate some time to ELA during the week, making excersices practice Listening and Speaking.
For me, I like when I made a mistake speaking, please feel free to correct me and explain to me the mistake that I did, this is very good for me to learn.
It´s important that all the group participate in class, so take care that everyone have a participation on this course.

DeleteI'm electronic Engineer and I work for an american company called Rockwell Automation, I'm very glad to work in this company so we have about 22,000 employees around the world.
I worked on sales as End User Account Manager, my customers are basically Industry of Food and Beverage, Life Science and Cement, it's very interesting to learn about the differents process on industry.
Rockwell Automation is a manufacturer company of Automation and Control Equiment, they have around 20 manufacturer plants around the world.
I have customers in Guatemala and Costa Rica, so I have to travel each 2 or 3 weeks to Costa Rica, I love Costa Rica with an exception of the traffic, it's horrible! But the food and the people are very nice.
We have a good customers in Costa Rica as Bridgestone and Dos Pinos, in Guatemala Cerveceria Centroamericana, Cementos Progreso, Nestlé Guatemala, Pepsico Frito Lay and others.

Recently I started to work at 3M at the division of industry, i´m in charge of sales of the adhesives tapes an PUR and construccion products. Independly that I have not to much time there I can tell you thay I love what I´m doing. It´s a all new experience of knowledge, and I like it.
I live wiwth my parents, also I have a brother and a sister buy they are already married, the good thing is that I have litte nieces.
I like to read a lot, and go out with friends to take a good coffe. I do´nt have a particular theme to read i cant tell you that I like to read variety or themes.
In this course I whant to improve my English,I really need to improve my writting and speaking, I hope I can do it.....

I have been working in a company that produce aluminiuns beverage cans since I finished my university in 2012.
Despite the presure in the company it´s a lot, all the days I learned many new things.
I like to do exercises, I wake up everyday at 5:00 a.m and I go to run out or weight lifts in my home.

DeleteI can recommend you to get audio books to listen to while you are stuck in traffic. That is a good way to improve your listening skills.
You should also practice some karaoke to reinforce pronunciation.
